Irv's Qualifications
Ten years of experience hiring pilots as manager of employment
and pilot recruitment for a major airline. Developed many of the
questions pilots are asked. Chose the factors upon which pilot
candidates are assessed. Designed the pilot candidate evaluation
form completed by interviewers. Led final selection
committee.
Trained pilot recruiters, captains, and flight department
managers in advanced interviewing techniques.
Conducted seminars on pilot interviewing techniques and
skills across the country, at job fairs presented by pilot consulting
groups, flight schools, military bases, and aviation-oriented
universities.
Taught interviewing skills at University of California
Extension programs throughout the state.
